Scheduling integration

Connect Cal.com to MailNesto

Bookings, reschedules and cancellations keep your meeting tasks up to date.

Overview

Cal.com and MailNesto, together

Cal.com bookings can flow straight into MailNesto’s sales tools. Each booking becomes a meeting task at the booked time, linked to the person who booked, and the person is tagged so automations can follow up.

Because Cal.com sends separate events for created, rescheduled and cancelled bookings, the task always matches the calendar: moved when the time changes, closed and marked “Cancelled:” when the booking is called off. Cal.com signs each delivery when you set a secret, and MailNesto checks it.

Ideas

What you can do with it

Demo prep for software trials

A SaaS team in Gurugram can tag demo bookers and send a two-minute video the day before, so the live demo can skip the basics.

Turn bookings into deals

Add a “Create deal” step to the automation that starts on booked-meeting, so every demo booked becomes a deal in your first stage.

Offers based on the meeting type

The last_meeting field holds the booking title, so a physiotherapy clinic can build a segment of everyone whose last meeting was a “Free assessment” and send them a package offer for follow-up sessions.

FAQ

Questions about the Cal.com integration

Does it work with team and round-robin events?

Yes. Each booking event carries the attendee and time, which is what MailNesto needs to create the task and update the contact.

Are bookers subscribed to my emails?

Only when you switch on “My booking page asks for marketing consent”. Otherwise existing contacts are tagged and updated, and new bookers aren’t added to your marketing list.

Is the secret required?

No, but with a secret set, any delivery without a matching signature is rejected and logged.

Where do I see the meetings?

Under Sales → Tasks, including the Today list, with the person linked so you can open their email history before the call.

Can I turn off the tasks and keep the tagging?

Yes. Switch off “Create a meeting task for each booking” and the connection only updates and tags contacts, which suits teams that track meetings elsewhere.
